“She likes to bowl away and I was happy for her to do so. But she just wasn’t good enough on the day,” was the honest assessment of jockey Wayne Lordan.
Bye Bye Baby had previously made all in the Group 3 Blue Wind Stakes at the Curragh, with her exploits as a two-year-old including a Listed wins at Navan.
The daughter of Galileo acts well on soft or heavy ground, but may be just as effective on a sounder surface.
