Emblazoned was unraced as a two-year-old, having changed hands for €340,000 as a yearling, but is making up for lost time in 2018.
He’s also getting better with every run – finishing third in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot on his latest start, having previously filled that position (but beaten further) in the Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock.
His two earlier wins came in minor events at Lingfield in April and Yarmouth in May.
Frankie Dettori, rider of Emblazoned, said: “My horse has run a superb race, he’s improved and I was closer to the Fahey horse than at Haydock.”
Trainer John Gosden said: “I am very pleased with that. It was not the plan to be so forward, but the horse took himself there. The form is rock solid.”
