Jubiloso was unraced as a two-year-old and only made her debut on April 25 of this year.

But she has quickly made up for lost time and has established herself as among the best three-year-old fillies over a mile.

The daughter of Frankel, owned by Prince Khalid Abdullah and trained by Sir Michael Stoute won first time out at Chelmsford and then was most impressive when scoring by seven lengths at Newbury.

Such was the impression she created that she went off only 9/2 for the Coronation Stakes.

Jubiloso could not retain her unbeaten record but enhanced her reputation by being beaten only two and a half lengths behind Watch Me and Hermosa.

“She probably just lacked a little bit of experience, but we have to very pleased with that and we hope she is going to turn into the filly we hope she will be,” said Lord Grimthorpe, racing manager for Prince Khalid. “She is in the Falmouth, but we will have to see how she is.”

“She has acquitted herself very pleasingly,” added Stoute.

Jockey James McDonald added: “She gave me a lovely ride, she had her chance and finished off really well.”
