The Mark Johnston-trained colt is quickly making up for lost time after missing the bulk of the 2018 campaign because of injury.

He has shown no lasting effects from his setback and was having his third start in swift succession when a creditable third in the Matchbook Yorkshire Cup, albeit he finished almost six lengths adrift of Stradivarius, the superb winner.

It would be no surprise if he continued to progress through the campaign and his form as a two-year-old and three-year-old has substance.

For example, he was third to Roaring Lion in the Royal Lodge as a juvenile and last year, on his only staert, he chased home the same horse in the Dante Stakes.
