, with a second successive win in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot in 2016, having won it with Ervedya 12 months earlier.

Qemah won with authority at the royal meeting – enjoying the true pace and quickening up smartly to win by a length and three quarters from Nemoralia.

The French 1000 Guineas third confirmed herself as a top-notch performer when following up in the Prix Rothschild at Deauville.

She lacked that brilliance, though, on her latest start when third to Alice Springs in the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown, and was again below her best when beaten on her return at Lingfield in 2017.
